First time online

First of all you should understand some basic rules that apply everywhere on the internet. Don't spam. Don't talk a non-english language, as the community is international. After several rule violations you might receive warnings or even temporary ban.

The default commands are:

  1. F1 = Show/hide other players
  2. F2 = Observe next player
  3. F3 = Observe previous player
  4. F4 = Download current battle level
  5. F5 = Show/Hide players online list
  6. F6 = Show/Hide battle standings/results
  7. F7 = Show all finished times since key was pressed
  8. F8 = Clear finished times list
  9. F9 = Add a chat line - The layout is US, get used to it
  10. F10 = Hide yourself - Won't work in a lev that is being battled
  11. F11 = Upload / Download winning replay of battle
  12. F12 = Reconnect to the server

Additional commands which don't have default mapping are:

  1. Show/hide chat
  2. Show/hide battle status
  3. Show/hide battle leader

When you first time enter the game, there might be a battle running. Simply download the level, go to the external levels through the menu and find the level, that is being played.

How do others recognize you

The system for graphical recognizion is very simple, you have a User1.bmp file in your BMP folder and you see that shirt on a user using the name User1. The downside is that because the naming is case sensitive, users should not change nick too often. If you acquired belma from zworqy's elma site , you should have a BMP.zip among the other files. This is the shirt collection of most of the users in Belma, extract it in the bmp folder and you will recognize other players better.
