Belma (short for Battle Elasto Mania) is the unofficial online patch for Elasto Mania. It is developed by a Slovakian programmer known as milagros, and the first version was released in February 2007.

The main new feature of the patch was to give players the opportunity to play against each other online, see others in real-time and generate result tables automatically from battles, but several more features has been added over the years:

  • Supports up to 15 characters in replay names (standard is 8).
  • Level filename shown when saving replay.
  • Maximum replay time extended from 5 minutes to 60 minutes.
  • In-game chat.
  • FPS limiter.
  • and much more...

Belma has been replaced by Elma Online, which is basically the final version of Belma.
