Thank you! It is now almost 2 years ago since I decided to actively start searching for an Octo style. 3 hours later I managed to pull myself up for the first time.
I quickly realised the potential but had to wait til summer before being able to hoyl it. On 29th of June 2009 I got my second finish with it and broke the 36tt barrier, so it's a somewhat important part of my years with Elma. Thanks, I appreciate it!
that's it :)

9. Replay, John:
First half is cool, second half isn't. That's nerves visible through the screen right there! I'm glad you still thought it was worthy of a GAA though.
Thanks again!

milagros: but yeah, im happy i dont have to do it again:)
SveinR: Congratulations again, truly deserved :)
milagros: \o/

Jappe2: let me start by saying this was done 99% by me
Jappe2: it was all me
Jappe2: frankly i gave nin some credit, because when i first met him i actually thought he is mentally challenged
Jappe2: so i figured i can give this poor guy a break and let him have some credit
Jappe2: but now it turns out he is not retarded after all, just really really dumb
Jappe2: anyway, it is important to know that without me this would have never happened
niN: when I first met jappe2, I could tell he was a very beautiful little man
Jappe2: ramone fucks kids
Jappe2: ty ty all
niN: I remember he was burning hot from the fever he had and I took a wet cloth in my hand and rubbed his face with it
Jappe2: btw alledgedly fucks kids
Jappe2: it was never proven in court
niN: I took care of him for those eight days he had that sensational fever, and the nightmares he had were pure insanity
Jappe2: and it was in thailand so its ok
niN: So then the fever settled and we were like two little puppies again
niN: forever undevided but forever we'll be free if I may quote
niN: I would also like to quote elton john :"hold me closer tiny dancer"
niN: also thanks to the people credited in the vid
niN: watch it if you haven't. I hope moposite will put it on the site.
niN: Thanks folks!

16. Community Award, milagros:
SveinR: The Community Award for 2010 goes to someone who has single-handedly changed the way we play Elma. In 2007 he created belma, the first program that enabled online playing and battling.
SveinR: In the summer of 2010 the long-awaited new version, Elma Online (EOL), was finally released to the public after years of development. Needless to say, it met everyone's expectations and became the new main stage of Elma playing.
SveinR: What used to be only a distant dream for several years, is now something we almost take for granted. People have actually gone as far as to say they think the Elma scene might have died if it wasn't for him.
SveinR: To quote one of the voters: "made eol, and that made me start elma again, I am forever grateful".
SveinR: The Community Award of course goes to...
SveinR: milagros!

milagros: horray
milagros: i will repeat myself... it was fun and then it wasnt anymore:)
milagros: anyway at the beginning i would never say things that were done are actually possible
milagros: it was suppsoed to be funny project where ppl see each other
milagros: and at the end it ended up it quite huge project
milagros: i believe i did more code for eol than balazs:)
milagros: i really wonder what would be his opinion about eol
milagros: i may end up in teh prison:)
milagros: so thanks, maybe i should really finish those last details
YEAHS: no need
BoneLESS: Well deserved mila.
niN: good job!
milagros: atleast server crash should be fixed or smth
milagros: one good thing about eol is that it improved my hacking skills
milagros: ive never done anything before, so i kinda learnt it here
milagros: and those skills are very useful, i must say:)
niN: online cheat check next?
milagros: its not easy to cheat in eol, no need to add anything better
SveinR: Well, congratulations again milagros, the community definitely appreciates your work.
milagros: thanks

First step:
People in the community give their favoured suggestions to who should be nominated in the different categories in the proper GAA thread on Mopolauta. To be able to vote in the third step, one must make suggestions in the thread. It is not compulsory to make suggestions in more than one category, but that is of course recommended.

Second step:
The jury members will choose ten candidates to each category according to their experience and knowledge. They will be also reading the community's suggestions.

Third step:
Now we have top10 for each category available and again the community can vote. The criteria for being allowed to vote are: well-known player (decided by the jury) and the player has posted some suggestions in the first step (so we see that he has been active during the whole process) or he doesn't have to be well-known if he posted a nice suggestion list with reasonable arguments. These limits are set for getting more appropriate votes. People don't have to vote in every category but if they do vote in some category they must pick their top5 and not just top1 or top3.

Fourth step:
The jury will collect the top5 for each category according absolutely to the community votes. The point system will be as follows: 5 points to every first position, 4 points to every second position etc. This will be the top5 to be used in the final show.

Fifth step:
The different jury members will vote over the different categories, and the community will also give 2 votes to the candidate who got most points in the third step, and 1 vote to the candidate who got the second-most points. The different jury members' votes will not be public. In the event of a tie, the candidate who got most points from community in the third step will win. If there still is a tie, the one who got most 5 points will win, then 4 points etc. If the winner cannot be resolved by this, the jury will come together and discuss the matter to declare a winner.

Voting for the Community Award:
Each voter will list up to 3 people, in ranked order from 1st to 3rd. Each 1st position will give 5 points, each 2nd position will give 3 points and each 3rd position will give 1 point. Voting in this category is not compulsory.
